Starting with soft strings, this piece builds up a complex tapestry of different melodies that almost imperceptibly shift between the orchestral sections. Growing towards a full orchestral climax that sounds both triumphant and nostalgic at the same time, it then swiftly calms itself to a gentle and hopeful ending of strings and woodwinds.
