A Tuba sets up a marching feel with the trumpet introducing the main theme, accompanied by an 'oom-pah' brass chorus and pizzicato strings. This then moves to a secondary theme on clarinet with a counter point theme on pizzicato and glockenspiel. This is followed by a middle section fanfare, reminiscent of a circus fanfare with brass, woodwind and strings. Ends in a crescendo and returns back to the main themes.
